The fund aims to provide an overall return (before the deduction of fees, charges and tax) that exceeds the return from its benchmark when measured over five years or more. It invests primarily in a mix of Australian shares, international shares and alternative strategies, through a number of specialist investment managers.

This diversification helps reduce overall risk and aims to improve consistency of returns by minimising the impact on overall performance resulting from any one style, asset class or manager.
